We had such a wonderful time at Velanos Villas! Our stay was for 2 days and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Jenny, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. The villa had breathtaking views of the valley and the sea. The private terrace and pool were perfect for our family. The location was ideal, with beautiful beaches and charming towns nearby. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome and goodbye gifts. Thank you, Jenny, for your hospitality!

We had a great time during our recent Easter getaway. the view from our accommodation was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside. the warm welcome we received upon arrival was also a highlight, with a delicious homemade cake waiting for us. the location of our accommodation was perfect - tucked away in the scenic hills, away from the tourist crowds, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The number of steps we had to navigate to reach our villa. It would have been helpful to have been warned about this beforehand, especially for those with mobility issues.

I always return to the place where they guided me on my first visit. Perfect for me with all I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, AC, kitchen amenities, outdoor area. I keep coming back for a romantic escape. No regrets.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Velanos Villas. The apartment offered a breathtaking view of the mountains, and it was in close proximity to the stunning beaches in the south and west. Jenny, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, even going out of her way to bring us a forgotten item to Kissamos. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with extra touches like a bottle of local wine and a welcome cake. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the warm hospitality provided by Jenny and George.

Mind-blowing views, cozy and clean house with everything we needed, spacious, peaceful village with the sound of goats and Cockerell, amazing pool with mountain and sea views.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming and had a cozy feel, which made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the garden and pool, were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy access to all areas and no steep stairs or tricky pathways to navigate.

I would ask for better accessibility aids for senior people, such as handrails in the bathrooms and around the pool area.

The villas themselves are stunning, with each one uniquely designed and built with natural materials. We loved the peacefulness of being high up in the mountains, surrounded by starry skies at night. And the location was perfect, just a short drive to the popular Elafonissi beach. Despite a few stairs to navigate, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend Velanos Villas for an unforgettable getaway.

The location was perfect for our outdoor-loving family. There were plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, from exploring the picturesque hiking trails that led us to breathtaking views, to taking long walks on the popular beaches nearby. The kids absolutely loved the adventure and freedom of the outdoors, and we were able to create unforgettable memories as a family.

My children wanted more activities specifically catered to families with kids.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming villa surrounded by the stunning setting of a quiet valley with the sea in the distance. the little villa, situated in Crete, was absolutely gorgeous. It was nestled under the shade of a big old oak tree, and the whole place was filled with the beautiful sounds of birds singing and insects humming. the friendly owner went above and beyond, showering us with lovely little gifts, and the overall experience was simply unforgettable. the villa's location near one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen was the cherry on top.

I highly recommend Velanos Villas and can't wait to return. Cons: Nothing at all!

The location of this villa on the hillside was amazing, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The villa itself was cosy and clean, with a fantastic terrace where I enjoyed breakfast in the sun. The host, Jenny, was marvellous and made my stay even more enjoyable.

The location of this hotel was absolutely incredible. Situated on the edge of a beautiful valley, the views were breathtaking. Being able to see the sea in the distance was a real treat. the setting was so peaceful and serene, with the sounds of birds singing and insects humming. It truly felt like a slice of paradise. Another great aspect was the warm and friendly owner. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even gave us some lovely little gifts. It added a personal touch to our stay.

The only downside I could think of was that the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Although the villa itself was amazing, the mattress could have used a little extra cushioning or a mattress topper.

The love and skill put into creating this place is evident in every detail. Jenny, the host, welcomed me with a homemade cake and a bottle of local wine - a truly delightful surprise. The house I stayed in was spectacular, equipped with everything I needed and impeccably clean. Although the weather didn't allow for a dip in the pool, I still enjoyed watching the rain sweep through the valley from my perfect vantage point. The proximity to Elafonissi beach was another highlight, even though I couldn't fully experience it due to the weather. I highly recommend Velanos Villas for a memorable stay.

Gorgeous Mountain Views and Outdoor Pool

The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning views of the surrounding mountains from our villa's balcony. It felt like being immersed in a breathtaking painting. And when we wanted to cool off, the outdoor pool with its sun terrace provided the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. It truly felt like a hidden paradise nestled among nature.

The only minor downside was the limited TV channels available, mainly Arab channels. However, this was a minor inconvenience as we were too busy enjoying the beautiful surroundings and exploring the area.
